Burdeen’s is building its largest and most prestigious showroom to date on Chicago’s Oak Street, where it will rub shoulders with the likes of Razny Jewelers, Prada, Hermes, Christian Louboutin, Chanel, Graff and Richard Mille.

It will be the largest jewelry and watch showroom in downtown Chicago with 13,000 square feet of retail space over two floors.

It is Burdeen’s fourth location on Chicago’s Gold Coast.

A central two-storey boutique will have a multibrand watch and jewelry space on the ground floor.

Tudor, Breitling, Omega, Grand Seiko, Ulysse Nardin and Glashutte Original have already been confirmed.

Customers will be able to move between the multibrand area and neighboring boutiques for Panerai and IWC.

Matt Burdeen, the company’s owner, says there will also be a number of independent watchmakers.

Upstairs, Burdeen’s will devote 4,000 square feet under a vast skylight to pre-owned watches, a watchmaker and various experiential activities.

Upstairs a pre-owned watch space will be bathed in light from a huge skylight.

The ground first floors will be linked by a staircase and a two-storey video wall.

The entire space, located at 120e Oak Street, is designed with hospitality in mind.

In addition to the central watch showroom, Burdeen’s will bookend the store with monobrand boutiques for Panerai and IWC.
