Hamilton Jewelers will complete the renovation of its Princeton, NJ, flagship this year.
CEO and COO, Hank and Andrew Siegel, say they have been working on the refurbishment of their iconic showroom for a decade, but it will be finished in the fall.
“The nearly 10 year planned renovation of our Princeton flagship store, located in a landmark building that is world famous, will be complete this autumn, and we will be very happy to have that project completed,” the father and son team tell WATCHPRO.
Like many luxury watch and jewelry retailers, the project has focused on delivering a range of services within the store, and stronger branded areas for the key marques.
“It has been a top to bottom full renovation, from our service facilities, workshops and team facilities on the lower level through the main salon, multi-brand Watch Lounge, expanded spaces for Cartier, Rolex, Patek Philippe, Jaeger-LeCoultre, designer jewels, and Hamilton collections,” the Siegels reveal.
Investing in improving services is vital to secure the future for a luxury industry that is booming, but also facing stronger headwinds as the economy snaps back after covid and spending habits shift.
“The US watch industry is enjoying an amazing time right now,” Andrew Siegel says. “But we must remain focused, humble, and on our toes, as other luxury industries will be heavily investing to regain market share.”
