New England luxury jeweler, Long’s, is moving from its current South Shore Plaza unit in Braintree, Massachusetts, to a new location with space to create a standalone boutique.
Long’s has six showrooms in Boston and the surrounding area. Its South Shore Plaza store will remain open for the remainder of 2022.
The new multibrand boutique will open later this year at 150 Granite Street in half of the former Barnes & Noble building, just off the main exit of interstate 93 for Braintree.
Changing location adds convenience for existing customers and allows for the opportunity to introduce Long’s to new potential patrons, the company says.
The new store, anchored by Rolex, will also be significantly larger at around 10,000 square feet of retail space.
Long’s promises the showroom will have an exceptionally hospitable atmosphere designed to support an array of shopping experiences – from quick visits and service consultations to deeper educational sessions and selling/trade-in interactions.
“Long’s Jewelers remains committed to offering an unparalleled jewelry and timepiece shopping experience for our customers, and this new store once again allows us deliver on that promise,” says Craig Rottenberg, president of Long’s Jewelers.
“This large footprint and new approach to design will present a unique and comfortable environment, a much larger array of bridal and fashion jewelry, and will be more convenient than ever to get to. Customers who had been to our previous location will appreciate the new store’s easy accessibility and spacious parking lot.”
