Boston-based Long’s Jewelers has appointed Jana Bethlem as director of stores with responsibility to oversee the group’s retail network in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Prior to joining Long’s, Ms Bethlem spent 12 years at Christian Dior, culminating in running the brand’s flagship store in Manhattan and then overseeing eight boutiques across the United States as regional director.
“We have an incredible team at Long’s and we are so excited to add Jana to our leadership group,” says Long’s Jewelers president Craig Rottenberg.
“She has an amazing track record of managing luxury and clientele-driven retail operations like ours. At Long’s, we have grown so fast and doubled our sales in just two short years. With two exciting new retail projects set for 2023, we expect our growth to continue for years to come and we know that Jana will play a pivotal role in our continued elevation and evolution.”
Ms Bethlem’s appointment comes ahead of Long’s opening a two-storey Patek Philippe showroom on the prestigious Newbury Street in Boston, which will also present the company’s fine jewelry on its second floor.
Long’s already has a vast 4,600 square foot Rolex boutique on the same street.
