Raye duets for Audemars Piguet

Award-winning singer-songwriter teams with Mark Ronson to write and record a song to celebrate Audemars Piguet's 150th anniversary.

There are few more influential singer-songwriters on the planet today than Raye, who made history at the Brit Awards last year by winning six gongs including artist of the year, song of the year for Escapism and album of the year for My 21st Century Blue.

She also received Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Songwriter of the Year.

And she has a huge social media following, including 2.6 million on Instagram and another 2.3 million on TikTok.

Audemars Piguet is tapping into this star power by signing Raye as an official friend of the brand, and has just brokered a creative collaboration with another of its long-standing ambassadors, Mark Ronson, to write and record a track together.

The song, titled Suzanne, was revealed at a VIP event in London, which included a live performance by Raye and a DJ set by Mark Ronson.

A video showing the two artists in the recording studio together was also released.

Creating and recording the song was part of Audemars Piguet’s APxMusic initiative, which looks to learn from and inspire an appreciation for the creative arts and technical genius that goes into music and horology.

“The APxMusic programme is an extension of our commitment to nurturing creativity and talent. We are so excited to bring RAYE and Mark Ronson together, in time for our 150th anniversary, to present a wonderful, original track that will resonate with the AP Community and the public for years to come,” says Ilaria Resta, CEO of Audemars Piguet.

Raye has also modelled for Audemars Piguet in a golden Royal Oak.
