When Natacha Lamour-Nahim stepped into her role as Hublot’s vice president of retail for the Americas, she marked the moment by sharing a quote from footballer Pele: “Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing.”
This is something Natacha knows a lot about. She has spent more than a quarter of a century in the luxury industry, with previous roles including general manager in Miami for Tory Burch, East Coast regional manager for Stella McCartney, and director of retail stores for The Webster.
Natacha joined Hublot in 2019 as retail director and that promotion to VP was well earned – if short lived. That is because just four months later, she would step up again.
This time, she took on the role of Hublot president of North America, taking over from Jean-Francois Sberro, who stepped down in April after 14 years in the role to join luxury sunglasses brand Jacques Marie Mage.
This time, Natacha broke the news with a memorable quote of her own. “I am humbled to be living the dream of my ancestors, both as a woman and as a person of color, to be able to step into such an important leadership role, “ she said, thanking Jean-Francois for his leadership and CEO Richard Guadalupe for his faith in her. “I am looking forward to writing this new chapter with my Hublot family, to climb and discover new mountain tops together as we continue to make history.”
Jean-Francois has left her with a strong foundation. Under his stewardship, Hublot grew from a niche brand within the LVMH stable to one of the top 10 luxury marques in the country. He left on a high, having notched record sales in 2022.
Natacha describes herself as a leader who is passionate about people, and that concern stretches beyond her immediate team at Hublot. For the past three years, she has also been national co-chair of EllesVMH, an initiative from LVMH that encourages the professional development of women.
Its mission is to have 50% of women in key group positions by 2025, and to eradicate the gender pay gap by the same year. Natacha is never one to miss a target, so with her on board EllesVMH just might achieve its goal.
