Swiss watch brand Alpina has announced that it is giving its Startimer collection an overhaul for 2022.
The collection has always been aimed at and designed for aviation enthusiasts and the two new 2022 versions are no different.
Having redesigned the Startimer back in 2020 (https://usa.watchpro.com/alpina-takes-to-the-skies-with-startimer-pilot-heritage-with-new-design-and-case/), Alpina is now giving it a new bezel, new hands and a new 41mm diameter, using inspiration from the pilot watches created by the brand at the beginning of the 20th century.
The Startimer Pilot Automatic and the Startimer Quartz Chronograph both have three new models. They feature a blue, black or green dial, a steel or black PVD-coated case, and a steel or top-stitched calfskin leather bracelet.
In terms of pricing, both the Startimer Pilot Automatic and Pilot quartz Chronograph with stainless steel bracelet are $1,295, and with the calfskin leather bracelet they are both $1,195.
