Bremont Terra Nova pink watch

Bremont in the pink with latest Terra Nova field watch

Limited edition of 250 pieces is designed to appeal equally to men and women.

I though we were past peak pink after the Barbie-inspired candy crush of last year, but Bremont is receiving rave reviews for a new Terra Nova in the enduringly-popular hue.

“Sexy. Damn sexy,” is the verdict of @kristianhaagen, Instagram handle for the respected Danish watch journalist with 157,000 followers.

“This is actually the first new Bremont I like.. very very cool,” adds blogger @robbieandwatches.

The new Terra Nova in dusky pink has bold Arabic numerals made from blocks of white Superluminova that complement pipette-style white hours and minutes hands.

The white lume glows green after dark.

The 38mm x 44mm size is intentionally gender-neutral, and it is likely this is a watch that will sell to both men and women.

A production run of just 250 watches looks certain to undershoot demand, giving Bremont CEO Davide Cerrato an end of year win after a choppy year for the new Terra Nova and rebrand that was unveiled at Watches and Wonders earlier this year.

Priced at £3,000 / $3,540, the steel-on-steel field watch could become a pin-up for a collection that introduced a new cushion-shaped case to Bremont and a sophisticated quick release bracelet with brushed and polished elements.

The automatic watch is powered by Bremont’s Calibre 11 1/2’’ BE-36AL, a modified Sellita SW200-1b, which has 38 hours of power reserve.
