Bremont ready for jungle warfare with its latest all-ceramic Supermarine watches

Made with Marines in mind, the Supermarine Full Ceramic is a highly technical, lightweight and rugged dive watch.

Bremont has made a full ceramic version of its Supermarine professional divers’ watch in a choice of ‘jungle green’ or ‘tactical black’.

Adopting military jargon for watches may seem a little on-the-nose, but Bremont has peerless pedigree in its association with the armed forces, particularly in its native Britain.

Bremont is a partner of the UK’s Ministry of Defence (MoD) and the sole luxury watch producer allowed to use the ensigns of the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force.

The Supermarine Full Ceramic builds on this association and is supported by Bremont brand ambassador, former Royal Marines Commando and lifelong eco-warrior Aldo Kane, who put the watch through its paces.

“I have probably taken my Bremont to more places on the planet than anyone else and the Supermarine has performed incredibly on my jungle missions this year. The forest is the great equaliser. It crushes egos, builds resilience, and hones a deep connection to the natural world. If you (and your watch) can operate in the jungle, you can operate anywhere.” Mr Kane says.

The watch comes in a mono-block ceramic 43mm case, which is water resistant to 500 meters, and has a 60-minute ceramic countdown bezel.

It is sold with interchangeable nato and rubber straps.

“At Bremont our tool watches are worn by those that endeavour to push themselves to the most extreme environments on earth. We are constantly striving to evolve and improve the technical performance of our watches. The Supermarine Full Ceramic is a highly technical and qualitative dive watch, demonstrating our passion for perfection, says Davide Cerrato, Bremont CEO.

The three-hand with date watches are powered by a modified Sellita automatic SW300-1A 25 movement with Glucydur balance wheel, Anachron balance spring and Nivaflex mainspring with 50-hour power reserve.

Supermarine Full Ceramic ‘Jungle Green’ is a 250-piece limited edition priced at $6,950. The Tactical Black is selling for $6,450.
