Pittsburgh’s Louis Anthony Jewelers puts hospitality at the heart of store expansion

When complete, the store will have an additional 3,000 square feet of retail space, taking the total to over 9,000 square feet.

Pittsburgh-based Louis Anthony Jewelers is putting hospitality at the heart of a showroom refurbishment anchored by a Rolex shop-in-shop.

When complete, the store will have an additional 3,000 square feet of retail space, taking the total to over 9,000 square feet.

Along with larger areas for Rolex and jewelry brands like David Yurman, the expansion will give the family business more space to entertain and delight customers in private meeting rooms and at a full in-store hospitality bar.

“Shopping is about more than making a purchase,” says Louis Guarino Jr., founder and president of Louis Anthony.

“The customer wants an experience, to feel welcome and at home. We have always provided that feeling, and we are now taking it to the next level.”

The expansion, which began last year, is expected to be completed in 2023.

Along with Rolex, the store also offers Tudor, TAG Heuer, Carl F Bucherer, Baume & Mercier and Raymond Weil watches.

An extensive portfolio of branded jewelry comes from the likes of Amrenta, David Gotlib, Deakin & Franis, Gucci, Picchiotti and Roberto Coin, and sells alongside the bridal and fine jewelry made by the company’s own team.

Rolex will have a 900 square foot area and its own certified watchmaker available for in-house servicing.

Louis Guarino III, vice president of operations, says the transformation should be finished by October.
