Burdeen’s is recruiting a watchmaker to be based at its start-of-the-art Illinois store.
The family-owned company was founded in 1983 and its flagship store features one of the largest pre-owned watch programs in the US, allowing the successful candidate a variety of high-end timepieces to work on.
In addition, it owns multiple Richemont Boutiques in Chicago allowing tremendous access to high-level training programs in Cartier, IWC, Panerai, Jaeger Le-Coultre, Omega, Breitling, and many others.
Burdeen’s is looking for an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial-minded watchmaker to join the watchmaking team in its modern state of the art shop which is fully equipped with ergonomic benches, top notch equipment and features windows and natural lighting.
You will be supported by a team of additional watchmakers, techs, and polishers.
The right candidate for this position will possess a WOSTEP or OWME 1120 Certification; additional brand training is a plus.
You should be proficient in all ETA based movements, with 7+ years’ experience servicing high-end Swiss movements.
Knowledge and experience of the following brands are a plus: Panerai, IWC, JLC, Omega, Rolex, Audemars Piguet.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, demonstrate a positive attitude, a friendly demeanor, and be willing to expand his or her skill set.

Role specifications:

Pay: $85,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
