The marital breakdown of Italian soccer legend Francesco Totti and his glamorous wife Iliya Blasi has been described by the country’s media as a national tragedy.
Unlike many modern day sports starts and their partners, the couple were seen as family-oriented during their 17-year marriage, despite their wealth, beauty and success.
But break-ups bring out the worst in everybody, and the pair’s separation has led to an ugly spat playing out on social and mainstream media.
With their 17-year marriage ending, Mr Totti is reported to have seized his ex-wife’s designer handbag and shoe collection.
In retaliation, Ms Blasi has taken the soccer star’s collection of Rolex watches hostage while they plot the terms of their separation.
Instagram feeds for the couple used to show scenes of marital bliss and a perfect family life.
But Ms Blasi has now used her Tiktok feed to mock her ex-husband about the Rolex watch collection she is reportedly withholding from him.
The caption for the self-filmed video reads: “Ilary Blasi takes a video in front of a Rolex shop and tags Francesco Totti”, and is being seen as some sort of ransom note.
