Maurice Lacroix chose Miami for the global launch of its ballsy AIKON #tide collection of sustainable timekeepers in April.
The family of watches, made from ocean-bound upcycled plastic and glass fiber, is already being expanded with special editions in association with the FIBA 3×3 World Tour for three-a-side street basketball.

Having expanded well beyond its roots as a street sport, 3×3 is now played worldwide and is part of the Olympic program.
New FIBA 3×3 World Tour versions of AIKON #tide are housed in 40mm cases housing quartz movements.
Two references are available with black or white dials and coordinating straps. The dials and case backs incorporate the 3×3 logo.
A third piece comes in blue, orange and yellow, the colors of the official Wilson basketball of the FIBA 3×3 World Tour.
