Richard Mille opens the country’s largest boutique in the historic heart of Dallas

Highland Park Village is a historic shopping destination that dates back to the 1930s, but Richard Mille is shaking it up with a thoroughly modern showroom concept.

Richard Mille has opened its largest boutique in the United States today within the Highland Park Village in Dallas.

It is the first boutique for the brand in Texas.

Richard Mille’s 5,275 square foot store over two floors strikes an imposing presence among the prestigious boutiques of Highland Park Village, a small but historic outdoor retail and dining destination at the heart of Dallas’s most affluent old-money neighborhood.

When the Village opened in 1931, it was widely considered the country’s first planned shopping center.

The new boutique is unashamedly modern, although it is said to introduce a new “discretely elegant” design concept from Richard Mille for the first time in the United States.

Ground floor reception.

The showroom is arranged into seven distinct zones across its two floors.

The ground-level lobby, which is the only room visible from outside, makes an instant impression on clients with its dramatic floating staircase, broken glass panels and a carved-glass suspended sculpture.

Rotunda.

From there, they will be guided up to the upper floor to browse watches in a central rotunda before being invited into intimate lounges for more private consultations.

There is a cinema room and a Spaceship Lounge that is said to be a tranquil and meditative space despite its aerospace and aeronautics retro-futuristic-themed design.

Spacer Lounge.

The obligatory boutique bar is a versatile space for eating, drinking or enjoying a game of pool or a spin on a racecar simulator.

The space is intelligently designed so that walls and doors can be shifted to turn smaller rooms into larger spaces for events, which Highland Park Village, showing true Texan hospitality, allows into the evening.
