Close to 400 votes have been cast over the past month to decide the finalists and winners of this year’s WatchPro Awards.
The awards will be presented at a spectacular ceremony in New York City on September 4 where the country’s leading owners and executives from across the industry will gather to celebrate a record-breaking year of watch sales in the United States.
Around 300 people from the nation’s leading watch brands and retailers will be at the black tie event at the historic Cipriani building in Lower Manhattan’s financial district, which was once the country’s ticketing hall for Cunard’s Atlantic liners.
This year will see the presentation of the very first WatchPro Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes the service of an individual or team that has transformed business for their their company and customers over many decades.
WatchPro will be honored to present its Lifetime Achievement Award for 2024 to Mark and Candy Udell, owners of London Jewelers in New York and New Jersey, who have a led a multi-generational family business since taking over in the 1980s, and are widely considered among the most influential independent jewelers in the country.
The Lifetime Achievement Award will be the grand finale of a spectacular evening in which 14 other trophies for retailers and watch brands will be presented.
