The biggest week of the year for motoring enthusiasts concluded this weekend with the multi-disciplinary racing and presentations of classic and modern day automobiles in Monterey and Pebble Beach.

The sense of occasion has been enhanced since 1997 when Rolex became the headline partner of the Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance, Monterey Motorsports Reunion, The Quail and the Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance.

Along with Rolex reinforcing its decades-long association and support for the world of motor racing and vintage cars, it also provided prizes for winners in a number of categories for California’s landmark gathering.

Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance concluded on Sunday when a 1937 Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster was named the Best of Show.

A specially engraved Oyster Perpetual Datejust 36 was presented to its owner Jim Patterson.
