WATCH FACES: Leaders of the American watch market gather for the WatchPro Awards

The greatest gathering of the American watch industry took place at Cipriani in New York City in September.

The guest list reads like a who’s who of the American watch business.

From the brands, the event welcomed senior delegations from LVMH Watches and Richemont; leaders from the prestige brands of Swatch Group; executives from WOLF, Redd Retail Group, Madaluxe Group, Grand Seiko, Chopard, Cartier; brand presidents for Citizen Watch America’s Bulova, Frederique Constant and Citizen; and American watchmakers Brew Watch Co. and Wilbur Watch Co., and many more.

Many of the country’s biggest and best retailers from across the country were there: London Jewelers, Hing Wa Lee, Kodak Jewelers, Polacheck’s Jewelers, Razny Jewelers, The 1916 Company, REEDS Jewelers, Frank Adams, Manfredi Jewels, Hamilton Jewelers, CD Peacock and more.

And pre-owned specialists, who have earned new respect from the broader industry, also attended in droves. eBay has been the WatchPro Awards’ headline partner for the past two years. Luxury Bazaar was a support partner and donated a Rolex watch that was won by a guest on the night. Patek Philippe specialist Collectability arrived with many of its customers to celebrate. Wind Vintage, a winner in 2023, was back.

WatchPro Awards will be back in September 2025, but for now here are pictures that give you a feeling for the joy of the evening among the winners and everybody who attended at Cipriani on Broadway in New York City.
