Van Cleef & Arpels has added two Perlée Toi & Moi watches to an extended Perlée Couleurs jewellery collection with new pieces in yellow gold and turquoise stone.
Perlée is a family of jewellery that has been using clusters of gold beads as its signature design element since the 1920s.
The latest watches continue a style where a hinged bracelet, decorated with rose of gold beads, ends with semi-precious gemstones clasped by more of the beads.
At the larger end, there is a concealed watch that twists out from behind the coloured stones.
In two new pieces — one in rose gold, the other in yellow gold, mother of pearl dials are elevated with applied golden quarterly hour markers and framed by a diamond bezel.
For a tutti frutti combination of timepiece and jewellery, the new watch bangles could be paired with a pendant or ring in the same Perlée style, but using perfectly polished orbs of turquoise.
Perlée Toi & Moi secret watch in 18ct rose gold, green jasper, diamonds and white mother-of-pearl is priced at £31,200.
The 18ct yellow gold piece with blue quartz, chrysoprase, diamonds and white mother-of-pearl is £32,700.
