The latest product of Timex’s focus on reinventing original classics, the brand drops three new versions of the Ironman 8-Lap in varying steel colorways.
This isn’t the first time metal has appeared on a 8-Lap watch, but its appearance is still rare, and now steel features on the case, bezel and pushers, and details one of the version’s bracelet.
The Timex 8-Lap was originally designed by John Houlihan in 1986, and was first reintroduced by Timex Japan with the OG Edition in 2022, with a host of colorful new takes of the model launched since.
All three models measure 39mm, are water resistant up to 100m and feature a digital display controlled by an array of buttons on the case front and sides.
Simple but effective, their functionality offers the time and date and offer a chronograph, alarm, and timer.
The all-black TW5M66500 features the steel bracelet and costs $343, while the TW5M66600 is a bronze-gold toned model with a resin strap and costs $311. Finally, the TW5M66700 has a bare steel case, black bezel and strap, and also costs $311.
All Timex ‘OG’ Ironman 8-Lap models are limited products and available in Japan only.
