The 1916 Company, a grouping of Rolex Authorised Dealers, is putting the focus on community connection with the roll out of its redesigned mobile app.
The 1916 Company app has evolved with a new community tab, created to help spur more engagement and foster relationships across its global network of collectors.
Within this dedicated space, users can share and comment on wrist shots, showcase their collections, discuss industry news, or seek advice from the community on purchase decisions.
“At The 1916 Company, we believe that watch collecting is about much more than what’s on your wrist; it’s about how our passion for watches connects us,” shared John Shmerler, CEO of The 1916 Company. “The relaunch of our app brings that belief to life, creating a new space where knowledge is shared, habits are tracked, and conversations unfold in real time.”
Available now on iOS and Android, the revamped app includes a number of new community features, including the introduction of user profiles, bios, notifications, customizable privacy settings and real-time notifications.
A refreshed tool for wrist time tracking help users to log their daily wear; capture, share, and comment on wrist shots; and uncover trends across the community.
There are also curated threads for industry news, journal discussions, The Collector’s Circle and announcements from The 1916 Company.
Users can also set up notifications and alerts for community hub activity.
In addition to the new features, users can browse daily arrivals to The 1916 Company’s new and pre-owned inventory, initiate trades, and connect directly with Client Advisors.
Plus enhanced collection tools means users can digitally manage their watch collection with images, warranty info, service records, plus request quotes for pieces they are ready to sell or trade.
