Andrew Tate, the self-styled “king of toxic masculinity” to his millions of social media followers, has been placed under house arrest in Romania while prosecutors investigate new allegations of human trafficking.
During his arrest, police seized 16 vehicles, a motorbike, laptops, thousands of dollars in cash, luxury watches and data storage drives.
Mr Tate’s watch collection is subject to endless speculation on social media, with vloggers spotting which timepieces he has been seen wearing.
A video by Timefall, which tracks the watches of the rich and famous, puts the value of his entire collection at $10 million and shows Mr Tate wearing a diamond-encrusted Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, a yellow gold Royal Oak Offshore, several Hublot piecees and a Jacob & Co Bugatti Chiron watch in rose gold, which is valued at $4 million on its own.
Romanian police have not revealed which watches were seized, or their value.
Mr Tate, and associates who are also being investigated, have strongly contested the charges against them.
