Parmigiani Fleurier has expanded its award-winning 36mm Tonda PF Automatics range with models in different shades of gold, diamonds and a steel and gold bi-color piece.
The 36mm Tonda was unveiled in 2022, joining the larger 40mm and allowing the model to cater to a wider range of buyers.
The smaller Tonda won critical acclaim and a rose-gold model with diamond indices won the Women’s Watch prize at the 2022 edition of the GPHG.
The first of the new models is in 18ct pink gold with baguette-cut diamonds on the dial.
It also has brilliant-cut diamonds on the outer sides of the bracelet, differently sized to suit the individually sculpted fittings.
All gold and diamonds, Parmigiani reassures us, are ethically certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) according to the most rigorous international standards – they meet the highest criteria at every stage, from extraction to the finished product.
There is also a steel and gold version, with an 18ct rose-gold bezel and combined steel and gold bracelet.
All Tonda 36mm Automatics carry the Calibre PF770 in-house movement, developed to fit into the smaller case, with a 60-hour power reserve.
While 36mm is a good universal size, the smaller case is clearly aimed at increasing interest among female buyers.
“The House has consistently devoted itself to serving our female clientele with unwavering commitment,” said Michel Parmigiani.
“Crafting timepieces that epitomise horological perfection and exquisite finishing, these watches embody both mechanical precision and aesthetic sophistication – the very essence of Parmigiani Fleurier’s mastery in the mechanical arts.”
