Miami vibe brightens summer styles at Maurice Lacroix

Introducing colourful Aikons with glitz, glamour, sparkle and warmth.

Maurice Lacroix has released pastel pink and blue versions its evolving Aikon integrated sports watch range.

The ‘urban-themed’ quartz-powered Aikon first came out in 2016, taking inspiration from a Maurice Lacroix watch from the 1990s called the Calypso.

Maurice Lacroix has continued to develop the Aikon into its bankable bestseller in recent years, with a range of automatic, as well quartz watches.

Its latest additions are said to be inspired by the sun, sea and excitement of Miami.

In Miami, Maurice Lacroix tells us, “pastel blue waters lap against sun-kissed sands and Art Deco buildings dressed in chrome and neon” – and this gives us the theme for the three new models, which they sum up with four key words: glitz; glamour; sparkle; and warmth.

There are two with 35mm cases and diamond indexes, and a larger 40mm watch with rhodium-plated hour markers.

The 35 mm comes with a dial in either ‘sunset pink’ or ‘deep sky blue’ and are priced at $1,350.

The larger 40mm model has the sky-blue dial and is selling for $1,200.

All three watches come on a five-row stainless-steel bracelet and the case and bracelet are finished with a blend of brushed and polished surfaces.

There is also an ‘easy strap exchange’ system, should you want to swap the bracelet out for a strap.
