Gucci is going modest for Basel this year, with 18mm square ladies timepieces that come in some funky colors.
Gucci’s G-Frame line has been revamped with a smaller case, more square shape, a mother-of-pearl dial and three bright colors.
The original G-Frames came in steel or gold, along with a black strap or some infamous Gucci-pattern straps and dials.
The three new additions sport a satin strap in orange, pink or blue, matching with the dial also. The dial itself uses mother-of-pearl, as well as four steel indicators at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock.
These models are finished with the Gucci logo at 12 o’clock, the Swiss Made stamp at 6 o’clock, and silver-tone hands and indexes. The crown is embellished with the interlocking G insignia, and a feline head symbol is engraved on the back of the case.
Within the square case is a Ronda movement, accounting for the hours and minutes.
The pieces retail for $840.
