Farer is a brand that works on British design and Swiss made watches. The brand has recently launched two new limited edition watches, making only 100 of each variant.
Often taking their inspiration from British History, the two watches are named after the ship Sir Ernest Shackleton used on his 1914–1917 trans-Antarctic expedition.
With the watch price set at £925, The Farer Endurance 39.5mm stainless steel case. With the cases dimensions being 39.5mm (diameter) × 45mm (lug-to-lug) × 10.8mm (thickness).
The watch comes in two different designs with the choice of Arabic or Eastern Arabic numerals. They both have jade-colored luminous numbers, contrasted with a gunmetal colored face.
The watch strap is made from black leather, with PVD-coated buckle and green lining.
The case back features a sapphire display window and is held in place with four screws. This limited edition is also an automatic with manual winding and hacking.
The Farer Endurance uses the La Joux-Perret caliber G101, the highest-grade version, called “soigné.” This 24-jewel caliber ticks at 28,800 beats per hour with an impressive 68-hour power reserve.
The two watches are ready to buy now via the Farer website, with only 100 of each version, (200 pieces total).
