Korman Fine Jewelry, a family-owned business in Austin, is aiming to relocate and cut the ribbon on a new 11,000 square foot flagship this summer.
Construction is ongoing for the store, which is expected to open this summer, but architect’s renderings show the scale and ambition of the project.
Korman is building its new flagship from the ground up on an elevated plot surrounded by the open land of Austin’s green belt.
The position provides space for easy parking among ancient oak trees and views across the Shoal Creek.
The store’s interior design supports Korman’s mantra to “Celebrate Every Day” by accommodating a variety of experiences, from grand gatherings to intimate moments, according to co-owners Larry and Kat Stokes.
Korman intends to devote around half the showroom to fine jewelry and the remainder to prestige watches.
The new space is designed with spaces on three levels dedicated to Rolex.
A Rolex Certified Pre-Owned boutique is on an upper floor. There is a 1,600 square foot lounge delivering the new Rolex watch experience and an accredited Rolex Service Center on a lower-ground floor.
This is the new way in which Rolex is expanding its influence with authorized dealers and creating additional revenue opportunities through pre-owned sales and services.
Also expected to be represented in the new Korman showroom are Tudor, Blancpain, Omega, Grand Seiko, Breitling, Ressence, Trilobe and fine jewelry by designers such as Single Stone, FOPE, Viltier, Jade Trau, Walters Faith, Serafino Consoli and Messika.
