Sweden-based brand Anders & Co has its sight set on the launch of its next iterations as soon as this summer.
Expected to succeed the AC1 collection, Anders & Co founder, Alex Larsson, told WatchPro the AC2 models could be here in June, without sharing any product details.
The brand has gone from strength to strength in just a few years and puts a lot of its early success down to the community-centric nature of the business.
The story of Anders & Co began when Mr Larsson, who was brand manager at David Candaux, found his career in horology to be taking an unexpected turn in 2020 when the USA office closed its doors due to the pandemic.
He explains: “Faced with uncertainty, I chose to embrace a new path – one that led me to Sweden, where I could create something special for friends and fellow watch enthusiasts. And so Anders & Co was born.
Named after my late grandfather and bearing a logo inspired by his love for Pucón, a small town in the south of Chile. It was he who introduced me to the world of watches.”
Mr Larsson adds: “Anders & Co is more than just another watch brand, it is a community of like-minded collectors with a passion for horology. Accessible to all who truly love watch collecting.”
The AC1 collection, which sets the tone for what the brand wants to achieve, is described as a line which is inspired by the past but designed with a modern perspective.
In a 316L stainless steel case, 38mm in diameter, the AC1 collection is powered by the VK64 mechanical quartz movement.
The case is 11.1mm thick and is secured with a closed screwdown case-back, water resistant to 3 ATM.
They are sold online in the United States for $601.
