It alludes to a commitment to sustainability and it is an overarching theme for inspirational brand ambassadors including environmentalists, philanthropists and sports stars.
CJ McCollum falls into both the sports star and philanthropist camp.
Not only has be been one of Portland Trail Blazer’s most valuable players since joining as a first round pick in 2013, he is also responsible for the CJ McCollum Dream Center, which is an innovative learning room at the Blazers Boys & Girls Club outfitted with new computers, books, art, and learning tools.
The Center aims to provide a safe and inspiring space for under-served youth to learn, explore, create, and grow.
He also helps foster local youths’ interest in journalism through an initiative called CJ’s Press Pass that grants aspiring journalists access to post game news conferences and provides them the opportunity to attend events with McCollum, to receive personalized mentorship from members of the media, and to have their work published.
Citizen says it is partnering with Mr McCollum, who will feature in advertising and social media campaigns this holiday season and into 2022 wearing a Citizen Series 8 Sport Luxury Chronograph.
