Bremont is not waiting until this year’s Watches and Wonders to introduce its first novelties of 2025.
The British business endured a bumpy ride at last year’s show for a rebrand revealed on dials of 2024 Terra Novas — the first full collection under CEO Davide Cerrato — but is sticking to the design of those watches in a capsule collection of bronze models.
Like their steel stablemates, the bronze Terra Nova collection of field watches adopts the same low profile cushion-shaped case with shortened lugs.
Dials for all field watches continue to carry the Wayfarer Bremont logo that was unveiled in Geneva last year, although it has been made a little smaller.
Bremont is using a bronze alloy it calls Cupro-aluminium, which contains aluminium and silicon. The company says this makes it stronger, scratch-resistant and more suited to the milling and finishing required for the two-part Terra Nova cases and bracelets.
The bronze alloy is described as a soft gold in colour, although it will darken and patinate with age.
