Artem Straps’ deployant clasps see surge in popularity

Those behind the brand say the increase in popularity has been driven by the unique design.

Artem Straps has reported a surge in brand popularity in recent month, partly down to its deployant clasp offering.

Those behind the brand say the increase in popularity has been driven by the unique design.

The brand’s offering comprises the following deployant clasps:

RM Style Deployant Clasp:

With the design inspired by the Richard Mille deployant clasp, Artem Straps describes its RM Style Deployant Clasp as the “ideal premium accessory for your Artem sailcloth strap.”

It fits the brand’s 19mm, 20mm and 21mm straps only and is made from solid stainless steel with a premium polished finish.

It uses a leaf spring mechanism for a more secure feel while subtle curvature creates optimal wrist conformity.

In comparison to a standard tang, the RM Style Deployant Clasp also reduces wear on the watch strap.

Blancpain FF Style Deployant Clasp:

This addition to the Artem range comes as a result of extensive customer requests wanting a more bespoke deployant clasp.

With a design based on the Blancpain FF deployant clasp, it fits Artem’s 22mm and 23mm straps only.

Made from solid stainless steel with a premium polished finish, double pusher buttons are deployed to allow for easy operation.

About the brand:

Artem Straps also focuses on the manufacture of sailcloth watch straps, designed and tested extensively to ensure the highest possible quality.

The straps are made from synthetic materials (both under and upper sides), resulting in a satin sheen finish. The company says that they are the finest sailcloth straps on the market, avoiding the stiffness of competitors’ straps.

Artem avoids using full grain leather in its straps, due to the material’s incompatibility with water. This is another example of the careful consideration and planning that goes into every material design element of an Artem strap.
