Art in Time in Monaco has presented a pair of Chopard Alpine Eagles with color-shifting “chameleon” dials.
The watches are sold as a his & hers set, each with a dial that shifts in color from blue to violet, depending on the angle you view it from.
The 41mm men’s watch is a version of the Alpine Eagle XPS with small seconds at 6 o’clock.
It is powered by a twin-barrel, Poinçon de Genève Hallmark and COSC certified automatic movement with 65 hour reserve.
The 36mm version has a COSC certified automatic movement, this time with a 42-hour power reserve.
The women’s watch also a white-gold 18 carat bezel set with 36 baguette-cut sapphires.
The steel-cased Alpine Eagle sports watch has now been part of the Chopard range for almost 40 years.
Art in Time is an ultra-exclusive watch boutique on Monaco’s Place du Casino backed by Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, co-president of Chopard.
It also offers Chopard’s sister brand Ferdinand Berthoud, along with brands such as MB&F, Laurent Ferrier, Urwerk, De Bethune and Ressence.
The watches are presented in “minimalist splendour” in the boutique at the foot of One Monte-Carlo, one of the most exclusive pieces of real estate in the principality.
The Chopard x Art in Time Alpine Eagle His & Hers Chameleon Set is a limited edition of 15 pairs, presented together in a single case, for €60,250 excluding taxes.
