Americas given exclusivity over green and gold Zenith Defy Skyline

Americas-only edition unveiled in Mexico's SIAR show.

Zenith has unveiled a new version of its Defy Skyline in black ceramic with green and gold accents.

The new watch was launched at the Salón Internacional Alta Relojería (SIAR) watch show in México.

It has a new two-tone dial, with a sunray-finished deep metallic green along with engraved rose gold-colored stars.

The Defy “double Z” symbol is portrayed with an arrangement of four-pointed stars.

Gold-tone hands and applied markers are filled with Superluminova for extra legibility in low light.

It is powered, of course, by a high-frequency El Primero movement.

The El Primero 3620 automatic manufacture movement beats at 5Hz to move around the 10 second counter in 1/10th of a second clicks.

The movement is wound by a bi-directional mechanism and it has a power reserve of approximately 60 hours.

It comes on ceramic bracelet and is also supplied with an interchangeable dark green patterned rubber strap.

The Defy Skyline Americas edition is limited to 100 pieces from Zenith online boutiques and retailers in both North and South America.

The watch is water resistant to 100m and costs $15,500
