Czapek & Cie has announced a limited edition watch made in partnership with a Milan-based retailer.
Great Masters of Time (GMT) is a high-end boutique in Milan’s fashion district.
The GMT boutique on Via della Spiga sells F.P. Journe, MB&F, Urwerk, Romain Gauthier and others brands, along with a selection of fine jewelry pieces.
The limited edition Antarctique for GMT Great Masters of Time has a 40.5mm in stainless steel case.
The standout feature is the champagne dial, created by Swiss company Metalem, a long-time Czapek partner.
The 30 piece limited edition was presented at Milan Watch Week, taking place from 4th to 6th October.
“We are particularly proud of this collaboration with GMT Milano, as it holds a special personal significance for me,” said Xavier de Roquemaurel, CEO of Czapek & Cie.
He added: “Having lived and worked in Italy for a renowned luxury menswear maison, I have a deep appreciation for Italian design and taste. This partnership represents a shared mission between two independent entities committed to promoting haute horlogerie.”
Jacopo Corvo, who owns GMT with his brother Mattia, added: “This timepiece not only builds on the success of the Antarctique model, which has been a standout for Czapek since its launch, but also pays homage to the lasting connection between Swiss precision and Italian elegance.”
