Bianchet has created Hybrid Gold versions of its Flying Tourbillon Grande Date and Flying Tourbillon Sport GMT made from a combination 18ct gold, high-density carbon and titanium powder.
Combining the elements makes the watches both light, durable and — importantly — stunningly beautiful.
They are designed with gold bezels, crowns and case backs with brushed and polished finishes.
Cases are constructed from Bianchet’s proprietary composite where around 500 layers of carbon and high density titanium dust are compressed together.
All other elements of Flying Tourbillon Grande Date and Flying Tourbillon Sport GMT are the same as previous versions including their flying tourbillon skeletonized and hand-decorated movements with 90-hour power reserves, which are assembled by Bianchet in La Chaux de Fonds.
They come in the same sizes and proportions as previous models with cases measuring 43mm x 51mm x 14.35mm
Both the Hybrid Gold models come in a package with both a black and white rubber strap and go on sale worldwide in August.
The Flying Tourbillon Grande Date is priced at CHF 105,000 plus taxes while the GMT version is CHF 95,500 plus taxes.
