It is a cliché, but one which rings true for WOLF: there is no ‘I’ in Team.
For almost 190 years, WOLF has been protecting people’s legacies.
Five generations of my family have dedicated themselves to innovating products and pursuing the perfect design, developing patented technologies that look after priceless jewelry in our jewelry cases, and timepieces in our watch winders and safes.
With our 190th anniversary coming up next year, I have been reflecting on the people who have been part of getting myself and my forefathers to this point in time.
When you have a vision and an ethos for your business, building a team around you who share your values is not an easy task.
WOLF is made up of many great people from different backgrounds who share my passion for the business and bring their own skills and experience to the proverbial table.
I encourage open communication and value every team member’s input. This diversity of thought brings great ideas and innovation.
Together, we are most definitely stronger. Whether in our West Sussex office in the UK [top], Los Angeles [below] or Hong Kong, the WOLF Pack, as we call ourselves, is dedicated to supporting each other, looking after our valued customers and continuing to bring innovation and great design to the industry.
Face-to-face meetings are key for us at WOLF. The Pack as a whole gather on an annual basis to review and celebrate individual and business achievements.
Our global trade show schedule means many of the team are on the road together for large amounts of the year and where the miles separate us, video calling on Zoom is used as standard for everyone globally, allowing us to see each other’s faces on screen daily.
2023 saw the beginning of the WOLF exchange programme.
Employees spend a week with their counterparts in other offices to learn from each other, build great relationships as well as real friendships.
Those connections are invaluable to us as a team and we continue to see the benefit of this new initiative as each team member takes their turn on their exchange.
In short, a great team is the driving force behind success in any business; bringing together diverse perspectives, innovative design, a support network for individual growth, enhanced productivity, and effective collaboration.
With the right tools in place and a company culture that promotes teamwork, organizations can harness the collective potential of their teams and achieve remarkable results.
