Fashion watch brand Olivia Burton has launched an e-commerce site.
The British brand, created by former fashion buyers Lesa Bennett and Jemma Fennings, has now launched website oliviaburton.com, which provides consumers with a portal to buy the watches online.
Olivia Burton, which has been focusing on growing its wholesale business, will also use the new site to improve its brand awareness.
The website will offer flash exclusives throughout the season that can only be bought via the website. The desired impact is to increase brand desirability and generate traffic.
The watch brand said that popular styles that are out of stock elsewhere will be available on the site, including the Big Dials, which the brand has reported consistently sell out quickly at stockists including Harvey Nichols, Asos and The Dressing Room.
Olivia Burton co-founder Jemma Fennings said: “We are really excited to launch our transactional website, which is a positive expansion of the brand and allows our product to be accessible internationally. Our main route to market will continue to be through our wholesale business and the website will aim to raise brand awareness and exposure for our stockists in equal measure.”
