This July, the release of Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s Jurassic World Rebirth launched a new era of colossal dinosaurs and dramatic action on cinema screens around the world. Omega’s friend of the brand, Jonathan Bailey, stars in the action-packed new instalment of this legendary film franchise as palaeontologist, Dr. Henry Loomis, and fans will be able to spot his Omega Railmaster watches both on-screen and at the film’s premieres.
The exact model worn in the film is a 38 mm Railmaster (220.10.38.20.01.002), which was produced as a 60th anniversary tribute to the very first Railmaster that was released in 1957. Produced in the same vintage style, the watch worn by Jonathan Bailey’s character in the film is one of just 3,557 limited pieces, and is crafted in stainless steel, with a Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement, and a black dial. His character, Dr. Loomis, wears it on a brown leather strap with an OMEGA logo on the buckle (032CUZ006676).
Thanks to its anti-magnetic innovation, the original Railmaster was created especially for scientists, technicians, and those working around electrical fields – making it a perfect choice for Bailey’s intellectual yet adventurous Dr. Loomis in the film.
To accentuate his style for the red-carpet premieres of Jurassic World Rebirth, Bailey continued the Railmaster connection by wearing several models from the recently updated collection (23512382006001 and 23512382013001). Released in May 2025, the 38 mm timepieces in stainless steel are worn on leather straps and feature grey or beige dials with a black gradient. Their pure appearance, refined size, and sophisticated design were an ideal choice for Bailey, who is known for his notably distinguished style.
