Girard-Perregaux has introduced two striking new Laureato 38mm Diamond-Set models, enhancing the iconic octagonal bezel with impressive light play and precision craftsmanship.
The first model features a bezel adorned with 32 baguette-cut diamonds (~3 cts), each meticulously hand-set into a custom-designed channel.
Here, the octagonal bezel subtly widens at each corner, perfectly framing the stones, while the white gold dial displays a refined Clous de Paris pattern.
Minimalist white gold indexes and baton-style, gold-plated hands are enhanced with luminescent accents for legibility.
Completing the timepiece is an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and an integrated polished and satin-finished steel bracelet.
For those seeking color, a second version features a bezel set with 10 brilliant-cut diamonds (~0.177 cts) and 46 brilliant-cut sapphires (~0.798 cts). The blue sapphires deepen in hue towards 12 o’clock, with larger stones placed at each corner, creating a dynamic gradient effect.
A grey Clous de Paris dial is complemented by blue accents and matching luminescent gold-plated hands.
Both steel timepieces house the in-house GP03300 caliber, a self-winding mechanical movement visible through a sapphire case back.
This beautifully finished movement includes a pink gold oscillating weight with Côtes de Genève decoration, offering a 46-hour power reserve, 100 meter water resistance and beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz).
The diamond Laureato is priced at $52,200 while the sapphire version costs $20,100.
