Baume & Mercier is continuing to expand its bestselling Riviera range of luxury sports watches with four notably different chronographs joining the collection.
Baume & Mercier has a rich history of creating stylish chronographs that would look more at home in the offices of mid-20th century Westerners than the chaotic car racing tracks of the era.
That versatility appears to have been the guiding hand in the new references for 2025, which include two models that pay homage to classic post-war designs, and two with a thoroughly modern aesthetic.
All four steel-on-steel integrated bracelet watches have precision-brushed finishing — best seen in the sunray flashes of each 12-sided bezel with their four exposed rivets.
Monochrome styling from the 1950s is the inspiration for the Riviera M0A10827, with a 3-6-9 configuration of black chronograph counters and small seconds punctuating the Riviera dial with its ocean-wave etching.
The watch comes in a 41mm case that stands an imposing 13.94mm high on the wrist. It houses a Valjoux 7753 automatic movement with 48-hour power reserve.
It is on sale now for $4,100.
Also in a 41mm case, the Baume & Mercier’s Riviera M0A10828 Flyback chronograph is a limited edition of 73 pieces, a number chosen because 1973 was the year the collection debuted.
It has a vintage-toned brushed-gilded dial with interconnecting chronograph, telemeter, and tachymeter counters.
Buy it now for $8,100.
For customers contemplating a more modern design, Baume & Mercier has made a choice of black or blue versions of a 41mm day-date chronograph.
Chronograph and small seconds counters make a subtle impact as they have the same colour and wave pattern as the main dial running through them.
They are arranged at 12-6-9, leaving space for a bold day and date indicator at 3 o’clock, which is sandwiched between Baume & Mercier and Riviera logos.
Both automatic models are priced at $4,100.
