Zenith makes pink-dialed watch in support of breast cancer awareness charity

Zenith Defy watch will add to over $700,000 already donated by Zenith to Susan G. Komen since 2022.

Zenith has created a pink dialed watch for the third consecutive year in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

A portion of sales revenue from the 100-piece limited edition will be donated to Susan G. Komen, the world’s leading nonprofit breast cancer organisation.

This year’s watch is a Defy Skyline in the pink colour used globally for breast cancer awareness initiatives.

Worldwide, breast cancer ranks among the top causes of cancer mortality, claiming a life roughly every 8 seconds.

Benoit de Clerck, who recently took over as CEO at Zenith, says the brand’s support for breast cancer awareness and research is part of a broader focus on women’s issues.

“One of the key pillars of Zenith’s Horiz-On initiative is women’s empowerment, and we strongly believe that access to healthcare and education is a vital part of it. Susan G. Komen has been doing a phenomenal job in the USA and across the world in spreading awareness and offering support. It is truly at the vanguard of the fight against breast cancer. The future is full of hope and promising innovations that are bound to offer a brighter, healthier future for all, and Zenith is truly humbled to play a small role in this valiant effort,” he explains.

Zenith has donated over $700,000 to Susan G. Komen since 2022, according to its senior vice-president Sarah Rosales. This has allowed the organization to provide patient care services to thousands of families and accelerate research to save more lives from breast cancer, she says.

“Together, through this meaningful partnership, we ensure no one has to face breast cancer alone, bringing new hope to all those affected by this disease,” she adds.

The Defy Skyline Pink edition comes in a 41mm steel case housing an El Primero 3620 automatic movement and comes with an interchangeable steel bracelet or white rubber strap.

It is on sale worldwide for CHF 9,900 / €10,800 / $10,300.
