Welcome to LVMH’s F1 era

Here are the group maison’s new chronographs lining up on the grid

The end of January saw LVMH present nine of its household names to the media in its Watch Week. After a quick pivot to New York from its original LA venue, the likes of Tiffany, Bvlgari, Tag Heuer, Hublot, Zenith and Louis Vuitton shared their plans for the new year, as well as offering an exclusive look at their noteworthy new timepieces.

Unsurprisingly, motoring is at the heart of these horological offerings, with 2025 LVMH’s first year as Global Partner for Formula 1. From the stealthy Zenith Defy Skyline Chronograph Skeleton to the leather-clad TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon, here are the group maison’s first racing chronographs lining up on the grid.

Zenith Defy Skyline Chronograph Skeleton

Fitting into the ever-popular market for steel-on-steel luxury sports watches with integrated bracelets, the Zenith Defy Skyline Chronograph Skeleton watch comes in a black or blue colorway and runs from the skeletonized El Primero 3600SK automatic movement, which measures time to within 1/10th of a second and has 60 hour power reserve.

TAG Heuer Formula 1 Automatic Chronograph 44mm Titanium

In preparation to call itself the official timekeeper of Formula 1 racing, TAG Heuer introduces a range of automatic Formula 1 chronographs in titanium cases finished with black DLC. This 44mm model comes on a rubber strap available in a rainbow of complementary colors and runs on the Caliber 16 self-winding movement which is concealed behind closed caseback.

Zenith Chronomaster Sport Rainbow

Often compared to Rolex’s Cosmograph Daytona (a watch that once used a Zenith movement), the Chronomaster Sport Rainbow is now offered in 18K white gold – a model that was only available bejeweled in rose gold since 2024. Set with 50 baguette cut gemstones including 40 sapphires and 10 diamonds, the 41mm timepiece runs from the 5Hz El Primero 3600, which has a stop watch that can measure elapsed time to an accuracy of 1/10th of a second.

TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph 39mm Automatic

TAG Heuer first developed a smoky purple color for a limited edition version of its square-cased Monaco chronograph in 2022. Now the hue is back for the new Carrera Chronograph. Powered by the in house Caliber Heuer 02 (TH20-00) movement, it has a 80-hour power reserve and black leather strap with a vibrant lining. With a steel case, it is embellished with 72 diamonds to the bezel and hour markers.

Hublot Big Bang MECA-10 42mm Frosted Carbon

Hublot is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year with the launch of several new additions to the iconic Big Bang family. First introducing the MECA-10 movement and watch collection back in January 2016, this new 42mm model is crafted from matte black carbon with a Meccano-inspired design that reveals the inner workings of the manual-winding HUB1205 movement.

TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Limited Edition

An extension of the new Carrera Chronograph above, this 200-piece limited-edition Tourbillon version is powered by the Heuer 02 tourbillon movement, and comes with a notably elevated price tag. Crafted from stainless steel, the model features black subdials and the tourbillon at 6 o’clock to create a striking contrast.

Hublot Spirit of Big Bang 42mm Ceramic

First introduced ten years after the first Big Bangs hit the market, 2025 sees three new colors of the tonneau-shaped Spirit of Big Bang Chronograph added to the collection. Hublot considers itself a master of materials, particularly in producing ceramics consistently in a range of hues. Available in new colorways previously only seen in normal round-dialed Big Bangs, including Sand Beige, Dark Green and Sky Blue, each piece is a limited edition of 200.
