WATCH FACES: this week’s celebrity sightings, featuring Barry Keoghan, Mo Salah and more

Life post award season has been relatively quiet in the way of watch sightings, with the rich and famous taking a well-deserved(?) hiatus from the red carpet. But while there might have been fewer PR-orchestrated, brand-affiliated moments, the last week has still bought with it some notable timepieces.

From Barry Keoghan, his diamond Omega Speedmaster and unreleased Jaguar Type 00 concept car arriving at Paris Fashion Week, to Mo Salah’s AP Royal Oak as he touched down to play Paris Saint Germain, here’s some of our favourite moments.

Barry Keoghan

Barry Keoghan certainly knows how to make an entrance – and not just for the unreleased, ultra-rare Jaguar Type 00 electric concept car he pulled up at Paris Fashion Week in, nor the jacket that made internet sleuths question if he’s back with Sabrina Carpenter. No, it was the diamond-encrusted Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M on his wrist. Crafted from Omega’s Sedna Gold with nearly 400 diamonds and rubies, the watch is powered by the 8807 self-winding movement, offering 55 hours of power reserve.

Marine Serre

Elsewhere at Paris Fashion Week, French designer Marine Serre presented a mini dress crafted entirely from watch straps as part of her fall/winter 2025 offering. Renowned for her sustainable approach to couture and unique aesthetic, the piece was made up of 150 upcycled stainless steel bracelets, each differing in size and shape – a symbol of the growing relevancy of watchmaking in the wider fashion sphere and their influence on personal style.

Kendall Jenner

Reality star and model Kendall Jenner posted a casual bathroom snap on her Instagram story this week, and watch journalist Dime Piece but her keen eye to work, IDing the Cartier Crash on her wrist. A super-rare timepiece crafted from white gold with a salmon-coloured dial, the model retails for around $55K, but has recently sold for $280K per @watchgirloffduty.

Mark Zuckerberg and Alexander Volkanovski

At the UFC 313 last night, Mark Zuckerberg went head to head with Australian fighter Alexander Volkanovski – but it wasn’t just at the poker table. The pair had an impressive watch-off, with the social media titan donning a off-catalogue Rolex Le Mans Daytona in yellow gold, while Volkanovski went for a 42mm Hublot Big Bang Integrated King Gold.

Mo Salah

He might not have scored against Paris Saint Germain, but Liverpool FC’s Mo Salah performed pretty well in the watch department as he stepped off the plane beforehand wearing an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Openworked.

Sleek and skeletonised in black ceramic, the model celebrates the maison’s 150th anniversary, and showcases its intricate perpetual calendar with week, day, date, and moonphase functions framed by rose gold hour markers. With AP producing only 50,000 watches annually, Salah’s timepiece is valued over £300K on the secondary market – fitting for a player whose value, like his watch, is sky-high.

Victoria Beckham

Joined by the rest of the family in Paris for her eponymous brand’s Fashion Week runway appearance, Victoria Beckham was spotted wearing a Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5072R. Crafted in 18K rose gold, the timepiece is adorned with a diamond-set bezel and a mother-of-pearl dial, giving it a current market value of $180,000.

Robert Downey Jr.

Fresh from presenting at the Oscars, Robert Downey Jr. made a surprise appearance at the “The Future of World-Building at Disney” presentation at the SXSW Conference wearing a Tag Heuer Monaco watch. A racing classic, the iconic model features a striking blue dial with horizontal steel indexes, silver sub-dials, date display at 6 o’clock, and signature bold red chronograph hand.

G-Dragon

Jacob & Co. must have the most impressive little black book in watchmaking, with a lineup of celebrity ambassadors that’s more of a who’s who than the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party. Its latest partnership is with South Korean rapper G-Dragon, who has an eyewatering 24.2 million followers on Instagram. The collaborative, one-of-a-kind Astronomia Solar watch features a turquoise Earth wrapped in a rose gold dragon, decorated with hand-selected sapphires and signature Jacob-cut diamonds.
