Venezianico pays tribute to the Gods

New titanium watch from the young Italian brand

The young Italian brand Venezianico has unveiled a new titanium watch.

The Nereide Titanio has a 42mm titanium case and is water-resistant to a hefty 300m.

Venezianico was founded by two Venetian brothers, Alberto and Alessandro Morelli, who were inspired by the architecture in their home town.

The company logo is taken from the historic clock tower in Venice’s St Mark’s Square.

The watch firm was launched in 2017 with the stated aim of making stylish watches at affordable prices.

Previous watches have paid tribute to Venice landmarks such as the Arsenale, the collection of shipyards in the centre of the city.

The new watch emphasises the origin of the word titanium, named for the Titans of Greek legend.

The caseback of the new watch carries a print of Atlas holding the world on his shoulders, reflecting the famous statue of Atlas in the Doge’s Palace in Venice.

The case is entirely made of titanium and topped with a unidirectional rotating bezel, also made of titanium.

It is powered by a Sellita SW 200-1 automatic movement with a 38-hour reserve.

The strap is made of a lightweight, water-resistant textile and rubber mix.

The Venezianico Nereide Titanio costs €897.90
