Venezianico launches first in-house movement

The V5000 caliber is housed in the new limited-edition Redentore Utopia watch

Italian watch brand Venezianico has unveiled its first fully Italian-made mechanical movement, the V5000 caliber, debuting inside the limited-edition Redentore Utopia.

Developed over two years in collaboration with legendary engineer Fausto Berizzi (formerly of Lemania and Vaucher Manufacture), the V5000 is a manually wound movement offering chronometric accuracy of ±3 seconds/day, a 60-hour power reserve, and a split gear train for enhanced precision.

The movement features four bridges, a double-supported balance wheel, and finishing techniques like radial Côtes de Genève, micro-perlage, and polished anglage.

Its KIF Elastor anti-shock system and inertia-variable balance mark it as a movement that seriously competes with high haute horlogerie standards.

The Venezianico Redentore Utopia watch itself has a 38mm stainless steel case, 8.9mm thickness, and a hand-engraved guilloché dial designed by artisan craftsman Riccardo Renzetti.

The dial, treated with ion plating, reveals shifting hues under light, while faceted alpha hands and baton indices ensure high legibility.

Limited to 100 numbered pieces, the timepiece is styled with a handmade Tuscan leather strap.
