Vacheron Constantin has introduced two new versions of its Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin, adding refined dial options to one of its most technically advanced sports-luxe timepieces.
The first arrives in 18K pink gold with a matching golden-toned dial for a sleek monochrome look. With a sunburst satin-finished base, it’s also treated to a golden-toned translucent lacquer, while the second model comes in 18K white gold with a striking burgundy lacquer dial.
The impressively slim watch first debuted in 2016 as part of the brand’s reimagined Overseas collection, and measures just 8.1mm thick with a 41.5mm case size.
At the heart of both watches is the self-winding Manufacture Caliber 1120 QP/1. At only 4.05mm thick, this perpetual calendar movement automatically accounts for varying month lengths and leap years, requiring no adjustment until 2100 (a chore for the grandkids).
It powers displays for the day, date, month, leap year and moonphase while offering a 40-hour power reserve.
The sapphire crystal caseback reveals a 22K gold oscillating weight decorated with a compass rose, symbolizing the Overseas collection’s spirit of travel and exploration.
Vacheron Constantin pairs the new Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin models with three interchangeable strap options. Each comes on a solid gold bracelet with the brand’s signature half Maltese cross links, accompanied by two additional rubber straps in complementary colorways.
The pink gold model can be switched up with a blue or white strap, the former designed to match the blue minutes track that encircles its dial. Elsewhere, the cooler tones of the white gold case are mirrored on its white numerals and indexes, as well as its white rubber strap, while the extra burgundy version gives a richer finish.
