The 1916 Company unveils Tudor boutique in Denver

Retailer formerly known as Hyde Park Jewelers is teaming up with Swiss watchmaker

The 1916 Company is opening a mono-brand Tudor boutique in Cherry Creek Shopping Center in Denver, Colorado.

The boutique takes up a 500-square-foot space, and will reflect Tudor’s signature red, black, and white aesthetic.

All of the brand’s emblematic models are on offer, with a range of classic, sport, diving, and heritage-inspired watches.

The boutique will also have an exclusive model, the Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze.

The store will be fitted with objects that highlight Tudor’s story as a brand, including a life-size vintage diver and an educational display about the use of bronze in case making.

Damon Gross, president of The 1916 Company, said: “We are honored and excited to share the Tudor experience with our growing community. Tudor has been an important partner of ours since its return to the U.S. market over 10 years ago.

“We’re looking forward to building upon this foundation and sharing our enthusiasm for the brand in a special environment. Shy of bringing all of our clients and collectors to the manufacturer, a dedicated boutique is the best way to give the world of Tudor its own stage.”

A spokesperson for Tudor added: “Tudor is excited to work with long-standing retail partner Hyde Park Jewelers, now The 1916 Company, to open this immersive boutique. This new location in Denver reinforces our commitment to further establishing a strong presence in the United States for Tudor.”

After a soft launch in the spring, the Tudor boutique is now open seven days a week.

The 1916 Company represents more than 20 boutiques and collector’s lounges across watch markets worldwide. It comprise the legacies of WatchBox, Govberg Jewelers, Hyde Park Jewelers and Radcliffe Jewelers.

Tudor was established in 1926, on behalf of Rolex founder Hans Wildorf. In 2015, it launched a campaign with its “Born to Dare” signature.
