Richard Mille has introduced the RM 43-01 Tourbillon Split-Seconds Chronograph Ferrari, a bolder, chunkier offering with many (many) functions that comes as the second Ferrari collaboration following 2022’s ultra-thin UP-01.
This high-tech chronograph embraces a bold, performance-driven design, available in two limited-edition versions: titanium and carbon TPT or full carbon TPT, each restricted to just 75 pieces.
As with the previous model, Ferrari’s design influence is evident in the dial, featuring markers inspired by air intakes, and a Ferrari logo detail that mirrors the 499P Hypercar’s wing endplate.
As is to be expected from Ferrari, here it’s all about what lies beneath the bonnet. It’s powered by the manually wound RM43-01 movement, a 3Hz caliber with a tourbillon, split-seconds chronograph, and a 70-hour power reserve.
It features dual column wheels, a torque indicator, and a function display for the crown’s settings (winding, neutral, or hacking). All of this took no less than three years of development by RM and Ferrari.
This skeletonized titanium movement showcases meticulous finishing, including an asymmetrical design and a gold-finished brake for the split-seconds function, ensuring stability during high-impact activities.
The split-seconds function is controlled via a dedicated pusher below the crown, while two additional pushers on the left side manage the chronograph start/stop and reset.
Measuring 42.9mm x 51.2mm x 17.1mm form, the RM 43-01 is water-resistant up to 50 metres, and comes with a rubber strap with a titanium double-folding clasp.
The RM 43-01 Tourbillon Split-Seconds Chronograph Ferrari is priced at $1,300,000 for titanium and $1,535,000 for carbon TPT.
