Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF 36mm Automatic Stone Blue watch

Parmigiani Fleurier updates Tonda PF Automatic with new ‘Stone Blue’ dial

Following last month's release, the brand treats the model to a textured, sky-inspired colorway

It seems light blue is watchmaking’s must-release dial color of late, with Parmigiani Fleurier joining the lineup armed with a new version of the Tonda PF 36 Automatic.

Following on from the February launch which saw the brand update the model in platinum, the Stone Blue colorway is given a textured treatment inspired by calm seas and bright skies, as well as Le Corbusier’s architectural palette.

Here, Grain d’Orge hand-guilloché detailing creates mesmerizing light reflections, while the hand-applied 18K rhodium-plated gold indices and skeletonized delta-shaped hands further enhance the dial’s depth.

The brand reverts to stainless steel for the 36mm case, but keeps the platinum 950 knurled bezel of the previous release, as well as the slim 8.6mm profile.

Differing from the previous release, at the heart of the timepiece is the PF770 automatic winding manufacture movement, engineered exclusively for this timepiece, which delivers a 60-hour power reserve and operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) via 29 jewels and 179 components.

This calibre also features Côtes de Genève finishing, beveled bridges, and a skeletonized 22ct rose gold oscillating weight.

Fastening with a polished and satin-finished stainless steel bracelet and a folding clasp, the model is water resistant up to 100 meters.
