MKC X ARES DIVER-1 MISSION TIMER watch

MKC x ARES Diver-1 Mission Timer sells out in just four minutes

The watch brand's collaboration with Montana Knife Company saw all 150 models gone in just 240 seconds

Released via Montana Knife Company’s website, the new $800 tactical dive watch, the Diver-1 Mission Timer, marks the second collaboration between ARES Watch Co. and Montana Knife Company – and beat its own previous sell-out record by 10 minutes.

Made in the USA, the Diver-1 Mission Timer is built for the toughest conditions, with a 1050 meter (3445ft) water resistance, shock resistance and anti-magnetic rating of 18.8Oe. The 41mm stainless steel case is crafted in Ogden, Utah, and features a Cerakote Flat Dark Earth countdown bezel with aggressive “no-slip” teeth.

Technical highlights include a 715Li Swiss quartz movement by Ronda, featuring a 10-year lithium-ion battery, five jewels, gold plating and an end-of-life indicator. The brushed brass dial sports Super LumiNova C3 indices and bold white numerals for maximum legibility, paired with an MKC Orange seconds hand and a LASH ballistic nylon strap.

Unlike traditional dive bezels that track elapsed time, this military-style mission timer counts down remaining minutes, offering crucial functionality for tactical operations when time is of the essence.

Each piece is individually tested to 100 BAR, equipped with a sapphire crystal and a 13.3mm case thickness.

ARES founder Matt Graham said: “Craftsmanship, control, transparency, and relentless execution are at the core of everything we do. Montana Knife Company never disappoint with their knives. They are not only pieces of art – but are uniquely designed to the highest quality to ensure they will be passed down for generations. Our collaboration reinforces our dedication to embody the best in American craftsmanship, the American mission and the American dream.”
