One-handed watch specialist MeisterSinger has unveiled an updated version of the Unomat sports watch.
There have already been two limited editions with a blackened DLC case, but these are the first versions of the updated watch in series production.
The new watch has clearer 5-minute markers and thicker double-digit hour markers against a deep black dial.
One of the new versions has hour markers in orange, with a matching orange rubber strap.
The second watch is blue on blue, and both are powered by a Sellita automatic movement.
The 43mm case, with screw-down caseback and crown, gives a very sporting 300m of water-resistance.
The watches are unveiled along with the release of another in the series of “MeisterSinger Moments”
This is a video series where ambassadors talk about moments in time that are important to them.
Previously we have seen the young opera singer Nicholas Brownlee, and the latest is the triathlete Hendrik Becker.
Becker, a former European champion, says: “To me, triathlon isn’t only a sport. It’s my life.”
MeisterSinger was founded in 2001 in the city of Münster in northwestern Germany, close to the Dutch border.
The brand sells around 50 models, the majority – but not all – one-handers.
Germany is the biggest market, and beyond that, MeisterSinger sells watches in more than 30 countries around the world.
The MeisterSinger Unomat costs €2,590 meistersinger.com.
